Abbeydale Tennis Club

Established in 1882, Abbeydale Tennis Club was one of the founders of Abbeydale Sports Club. Open 7 days a week, the venue is Sheffield’s only all inclusive tennis club. Members are able to use both indoor and outdoor tennis courts at all times. While over 100 years old, the club strives to be a forward thinking, inclusive tennis club.

 

Social Play

With both indoor and outdoor courts, you can keep playing whatever the weather! Plus with plenty of club session each week, you have a range of opportunities. So whether you want to book a court for your own games or join in with other members, the choice is yours!

 

Coaching

Abbeydale offers tennis coaching for all standards from complete beginners to international tennis players as well as free group coaching and Cardio tennis classes. There’s also an exciting range for the juniors which includes weekly sessions and holiday camps!

 

Competitive Tennis

Abbeydale competes with mens, ladies & mixed teams in the Sheffield & District leagues. As well as in the National & County Leagues.

 

Membership

There are three types of membership available at Abbeydale Tennis Club including two junior options. Adult membership cost under £2 per day. And while this may seem expensive, it’s worth bearing in mind that membership includes virtually unlimited court time, free coaching lessons and group, access to team matches and so much more.
