Founded in 1924, Bassett Lawn Tennis Club is currently one of Hampshire’s leading tennis club. With an exciting programme of year round activities, the club welcomes all ages and abilities to enjoy tennis. Plus as a friendly bunch, you’ll feel right at home!

 

Social Play

As a member you can play all year round thanks to plenty of opportunities. In addition to many weekly club sessions, you can also arrange your own games. So whether you’re playing to fitness, to meet new people or simply playing tennis, you enjoy the range on offer at the club.

 

Coaching

The club has a thriving junior section, as well as a comprehensive  coaching programme for both juniors and adults. Whether you want to work on your serve, backhand or something else, the coaching team is on hand to help.

 

Competitive Tennis

The club has several teams playing in local summer and winter leagues, offering opportunities for a range of standards.  And as a result, the club is always on the look for new competitive players to join teams.

 

Membership

If you’re thinking about joining, then it’s a great idea to play at a weekly social session first. Then when you’re ready, Bassett Lawn Tennis Club there’s a number of options to choose from. Adult members costs just over £4 per week and so it above the national average. However, the club offers fantastic programme, free balls and floodlighting in winter.
