Bredon Lawn Tennis Club

Located just north of Tewkesbury near the border between Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, Bredon Lawn Tennis Club has an interesting history.

There has been a tennis club at Bredon for over 85 years, but it is only in recent times that considerable development has transformed it into the successful Club it is today. There is an active calendar for social tennis as well as Club teams that play in league matches in the summer and winter for those more competitively minded.

Social Play

The mainstay of social tennis within the club is the four club sessions. These take place,  on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Friday afternoons, and Sunday mornings, all year round. So no matter how busy you are, there’s at least one session that’s right for you!

Coaching

Individual and Group coaching is available at Bredon to help you improve your game. Whether you have a particular aspect of the game you wish to focus on, or just want to get back into the game then the club’s coach can offer the right advice.

Competitive Tennis

There’s lots of match action at the club. 5 teams play in the Gloucestershire LTA Summer League. The club also enters 2 teams in the Gloucestershire Mixed Winter Floodlit League.

Membership

Membership of Bredon Lawn Tennis Club is open to all, regardless of age or ability. There are discounts for new members and a range of options. Plus there’s no joining fees.
