Burnham Tennis Association

Established in 1977, Burnham Tennis Association has one simple aim, to encourage and develop tennis in the local area. Today, the club is a thriving and energetic all-year-round club with players of all ages and standards. Joining the club does good for the local community and encourages more to play sports as well as lead healthier lives.

 

Social Play

Club morning and evening sessions, take place every week throughout the year for junior and adult players. There’s also American Tournaments, which enable members to mix tennis with a social element.

 

Coaching

Coaching is available for all standards and ages and can be arranged for teams, groups or individuals. Nigel Mann heads the club’s coaching and is a Licensed LTA Coach (CCA Award – Performance) and USPTA-qualified.  Juniors have lots of opportunities to play tennis at the club. Including weekly sessions and performance squads.

 

Competitive Tennis

A number of adult and junior club teams compete in a full range of fixtures in the county and beyond. So, if you’re looking for more competitive options, you have a number to pick from.

 

Membership

Burnham Tennis Association is open to all tennis enthusiasts, there is no minimum playing standard. There is no waiting list. Plus, the club offers a number of different membership categories. And since all are affordable, it’s worth joining the club!
