Established in 2009, Chippenham Park Tennis Club is a small club with very active programme. So, if you’re looking for social play, coaching or match play, the club could be the right one for you.

Social Play

While one of the three courts is available to general public, the other two are reserved for members. Plus you can book court time online. In addition to plenty of free court time, members meet for club mix-ins on Wednesday and Sunday mornings. Ladies only mix-in take place on Tuesdays afternoons. In winter some sessions take place indoors at Chippenham Sports Club.

Coaching

The club is lucky to have a fully qualified LTA tennis coach. Lynne, runs adult coaching Tuesday evenings and sometimes on a Thursday mornings. Junior coaching take place on Saturday mornings as well as camps in school holidays. The coaching covers all abilities, so if family or friends are interested now is the time to get active. Private coaching is also available on an ad-hoc basis.

Competitive Tennis

The club competes with 2 mixed and 2 ladies teams in the Chippenham and District League. And unlike some clubs, Chippenham Park does not charge match fees.

Membership

With adult membership costing less than £1 per week, joining Chippenham Park Tennis Club is affordable. Of course, the club offers a range of membership options designed to include all types of tennis players. Also, guests are always welcome for a small fee.
