Chulmleigh Tennis Club

Chulmleigh Tennis Club is a friendly club welcoming members of all ages and abilities from beginners through to league players. The club has a vibrant and varied membership, with a strong mini tennis section. The club works in partnership with the Chulmleigh Academy as well as the local community.

 

Social Play

As a member you can play on the courts during term time most evenings and weekends. When school breaks up, then courts are free all day and you can play as often as you wish. The club also runs club nights which encourages members to stay active, work on their game and meet new people.

 

Coaching

A LTA qualified performance coach is on hand to help you improve your game. So, if your in need of some guidance the club’s coach will enable you to reach your goals. Also club members receive a discount on coaching. For the kids, there are fantastic Easter and Summer camps. As well as Mini-tennis tournament, some of which involve other local clubs.

 

Competitive Tennis

A range of match play is available, from club tournaments to league play. Chulmleigh Tennis Club currently competes with 3 mens, 1 ladies, and 1 mixed league teams in the summer leagues. As well as a mixed team in the winter league. In addition some inter-club friendlies take place throughout the year.

 

Membership

As a community sports club, membership is affordable and the benefits far outweigh the cost. For example, adult membership costs just over a £1 per week with no joining fees or playing in test. Of course, a range of membership options are also available, catering to all kinds of tennis players.

 

Extras

Another membership benefit of Chulmleigh Tennis Club is discounts from Apex and South Molton Sports. As well as entry into the Wimbledon ballet for tickets to the competition.
