Located near Altrincham, Claremont Tennis Club has been offering superb tennis facilities for seasoned players and beginners alike since 1909. Having achieved LTA Clubmark status in July 2013, Claremont is recognised for it’s high standards that members enjoy.
Social Play
The club provides opportunities for those who wish to play socially or just for fun. Plus, there’s a great program activities taking place throughout the year. Claremont Tennis Club is also proud of it’s growing vibrant juniors section. This ensures the next generation get a good start!
Coaching
Claremont’s Head Coach, Matt Pearsall offers a range of tennis coaching for all abilities and ages. Whether you need to improve your serve, backhand or are just looking for some tips, a coaching session will enable you to see progress quickly. Matt also runs holiday camps for children.
Competitive Tennis
At the competitive tennis level, there are 4 mens and 2 ladies teams who compete regularly in the local summer leagues. There is also 3 teams competing into the local winter leagues.
Membership
Claremont Tennis Club offers many membership options. These include adult, summer only, family and junior. As with any club, it’s worth visiting a few times before joining.
Extras
In addition to regular fun tennis events, the club hosts a few off court social events throughout the year.
