Coombe Dingle Tennis Club

The club was initially created by the Bristol University staff back when flairs were fashionable and wooden rackets were thought to be the ultimate tennis weapon. Today, Coombe Dingle Tennis Club is fortunate to have probably the best publicly available tennis facilities in the Bristol and the South West area. Set amongst attractive playing fields at the Coombe Dingle Sports Centre in Bristol, players from the local area are welcome to join and enjoy the facilities.

 

Social Play

There are multiple friendly club sessions each week of the year and play in winter continues indoors! As many different sessions are available, players of all standards are join in at least one weekly session.

 

Coaching

Both Adult and Junior benefit from a comprehensive LTA approved coaching programs including courses for beginners, improvers and advanced players. Each course will enable you to grow and develop as a player. Should you wish to take your playing to the next level, coaches are available for individual lessons.

 

Competitive Tennis

If you’re ready to test yourself, then take part in one the many competitive opportunities on offer. Club teams are very active in local league tennis with both men and ladies competing. If you’re not quite ready for match play, then the club holds a number of tournaments each year. Therefore all ages and standards have a number of opportunities to get involved in competitive play.

 

Membership

Membership is of Coombe Dingle Tennis Club available at very competitive rates. Since there is no joining fee or minimum standard, becoming a member is easy.

Fostering a sense of community, members meet for social events all year round.
