Downswood Lawn Tennis Club

Downswood Lawn Tennis Club is a small friendly club situated in a pleasant location on Epsom Downs, close to the racecourse. Since its beginnings in the 1930s the club has provided a friendly, relaxed environment for tennis players of all abilities. The Club caters for players of all ages and abilities. We welcome beginners and ‘returners’ as well as experienced players.

 

Social Play

If you’re looking for more social tennis, then you’ll enjoy meeting people and playing a the weekly sessions. In addition you can book a court easily for your own games. Court hire is also available to non-members.

 

Coaching

A comprehensive coaching for juniors and adults is available. Juniors start with exciting courses in terms time as well as holiday camps. Whereas adults can join a number of coaching courses throughout the year. Private one to one lessons are also available.

 

Competitive Tennis

For the more competitive junior and adult members, there are a range of opportunities. Club teams compete in Dorking & Leatherhead League  in Summer and in the Surrey County League in winter. There are also two club tournaments each year. As well as inter-club competitions.

Downswood Lawn Tennis Club is currently offering 1 month’s membership for free! In addition to the fantastic offer a number of membership options are available at the club.

There are a variety of social events on offer too, including Quiz Nights, Progressive Dinner, Summer BBQ and more.
