Drumchapel Tennis Club

Drumchapel Tennis Club has for over 100 years been a local landmark. The club offers a great place to learn a sport, get fit and have fun. Drumchapel has a qualified coaching team and social events with matches for kids and skills of all ages.

 

Social Play

In addition to weekly social play session for members, booking a court for your own game is easy. You can even book courts online. So whether you have a partner or not, there’s plenty of opportunities to play tennis at the club.

 

Coaching

We offer adult coaching, junior (teenager) coaching and children’s coaching, all year round. There’s also holiday camps for the juniors! In partnership with British Tennis and Tennis for Free, using a local facility Drumchapel offers 2 hours of free coaching each Saturday, 50 weeks of the year.

 

Competitive Tennis

The club compete in local leagues with four senior mens teams, two ladies team, vets team and 3 junior boys and girls teams. Also there’ is a junior and senior tournament every year in October, the Drumchapel Inter Club, involving six of the clubs closest to the Drumchapel area.

 

Membership

With some of the lowest fee in Scotland, Drumchapel Tennis Club is cheap, affordable and friendly. Plus with multiple membership types, the club caters to all.

 

Extras

As well as a busy playing schedule, members always find time to socialise inside and outside of the club. A range of events take place all year including themed parties, xmas, bonfire night and so much more.
