Finchley Lawn Tennis Club

Finchley Lawn Tennis Club is a small, friendly and family orientated tennis club tucked away in a leafy rural setting. The club caters for tennis players of all standards from beginners to advanced players, Juniors, Intermediates, Match Players and Senior Citizens.

 

Social Play

On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings players mix together to play doubles. These sessions are open to players of a reasonable standard. Some of the club’s┬ámore senior players enjoy tennis on Wednesday mornings. And are affectionately known as The Crinklies!

 

Coaching

Beginners meet on Thursday evenings for group coaching. However, no other coaching is provided by the club.

 

Competitive Tennis

The club has two men’s teams and three ladies team in the Middlesex Summer Leagues. As well as two men’s, three ladies and two mixed teams in the Winter Leagues. The club also holds annual Club Championships, which is open to all members.

 

Membership

Since there are no joining free and eight types of membership, joining Finchley Lawn Tennis Club is easy. Fees are affordable across the membership range. Also members can bring guests for a maximum of three visits, after which they will need to become members.

 

Extras

The club has a licensed bar selling a selection of drinks and snacks. There is also a TV, music facilities and a pool table in the clubhouse. While many members enjoy tennis, there are some who purely the social aspect of the club. inchley Lawn Tennis Club, therefore has a busy social calendar ranging from BBQs to Quiz Nights, Fireworks Parties, New Years Eve Parties, Christmas festivities and many more.
