Located near the picturesque village of Merthyr Mawr, Bridgend, Glamorgan Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club is a small active club. The club’s varied programme includes multiple weekly social sessions, regular tournaments and so much more!

 

Social Play

At the heart of the club is an excellent programme of social tennis. The five weekly session provide play for all types of tennis players. Men meet on Monday evenings. For Ladies, it’s Tuesday evenings. Whereas Wednesday and Thursday are open to all. Finishing off the week, Sunday afternoons is a great opportunity to play some tennis and always ends with tea and cake!

 

Coaching

As a small club, unfortunately there is no coaching provided. However, other local clubs do offer fantastic coaching programmes and so if this top of your list, it could be worth looking at other clubs.

 

Competitive Tennis

Glamorgan Lawn Tennis And Croquet Club holds a few tournaments throughout the year. These fun event enable members to engage in some friendly competitive play. Also teams compete in local leagues.

 

Membership

Seven types of membership are available, including Couple, Junior, and Adult. Fees are affordable and range from £10 to £180. British Tennis membership is also included when you join. The club therefore caters to all types of tennis players.
