Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club
Founded in 1885, Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club has a long and rich history. The club is considered to be one of Sheffield’s most well-established tennis clubs. There is a warm welcome for anyone looking to play Tennis, Squash or Racketball or to join a friendly gym.
The club has a dynamic and varied tennis programme which runs all year round.
Social Play
With both indoor and outdoor courts, you can enjoy a game whatever the weather. And as you don’t need to be a member, you can play against a friend, colleague or another member. So grab your racket, let’s get on court!
Coaching
A wide variety of coaching programmes are accessible to anyone wishing to develop their playing. Courses run through school term time (38 weeks a year) and cover a range of topics.
Competitive Tennis
The club runs its own box league, which is open to all and allows anyone to test their skills at competitive play. Also, the club runs a number of competitions each year.
Membership
Membership You don’t have to be a member of Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club to enjoy the courts. However, memberships reduce the cost of court fees. In terms of pricing, there is a small joining fee and rates depend on what facilities you want access to. A range of options is available for Adults, Students and Juniors.
