The Harbour Way Country Club was first established in the early 60’s and was first known as The Roman Way Club. Today the club is still unique with a very family friendly atmosphere. In 1998 it became The Harbour Way Country Club. Around this time, the owners added many extra facilities as well as upgrading the current ones.

Harbour Way has a broad range of facilities from a gym, swimming pool, squash and tennis. The centre holds the LTA Tennismark standard for it’s tennis facilities.

Social Play

Harbour Way has four excellent courts plus a smaller children’s practice court. So, whether you’re just starting out or looking to book a court regularly, the club has the right facilities. You can even book courts online! If you don’t have a partner or just want to play against new people, then turn up and play at a social tennis session. Club nights take place on Monday and Thursday evenings.

Coaching

Dena Nelson-Smith, the club’s coach is highly qualified. Tot’s and Junior coaching is on Friday afternoons. Individual and group coaching is also available. As is Cardio Tennis for those who want to improve their fitness as well as tennis skills.

Competitive Tennis

Dena also manages Harbour Way’s very successful league teams. So if you’re looking for a challenge, the club offers many opportunities.

Membership

While Harbour Way Country Club does charge a joining fee, you can choose from multiple payment options. You join for three months, seven months, or for the whole year. Annual membership can be paid monthly or as a single amount. Also a number of membership options are available including adult, junior and couple.

Extras

Enjoy a drink post work out in the bar or maybe even a bite to eat in the restaurant. The club has a great social scene with barbecues in the summer and special events throughout the year.
