Howard Lawn Tennis Club

Formed in 1911 , Howard Lawn Tennis Club is located on Littlehampton sports ground. The club can be easily access from the car park at the front of the Sportman Club. Littlehampton, with it’s beautiful harbour and easy access to the South Downs, is a fantastic place to live and play tennis. Plus, the club has a vintage club house to match, built in 1925!

Social Play

The club’s courts are best in summer. Therefore during the winter months when it is not possible to play on the grass, the club plays on the hard courts at nearby Maltravers. And so you can enjoy playing tennis all year round.

Coaching

A range of coaching is available during summer and caters for all ages. So if you need some help with your topspin or serve, then the club’s coach is available to help.

Competitive Tennis

Teams from Howard Lawn currently compete in Sussex County League. The club also hosts a number of club tournaments each summer.

Membership

While you can use the facilities as a visitor, membership offer many benefits. And as you can take advantage of a discount on the first year’s fees, joining Howard Lawn Tennis Club is open to all.
