JEM Tennis

JEM Tennis’ mission is to make sport accessible and affordable to everyone in the community. JEM is committed to helping people of all ages and abilities to enjoy sport. The club caters for all abilities, from beginner to rusty rackets and onto advanced team players.

Social Play

While there are no organised club sessions, booking a court is simple and you don’t have to be a member. So, if you feel like playing, grab your racket and head down to the courts.

Coaching

Colin Murphy and his team of coaches run a full coaching programme for all ages and abilities from complete beginners to performance players.

All coaching sessions run on a pay and play basis with no need to book or pay in advance. You do not have to have your own racket as the club has some you can borrow.

Competitive Tennis

Regardless of your ability, JEM offers the chance to play in league teams against other local tennis clubs. Currently, Men’s, Ladies and Mixed teams compete in the Portsmouth, Southampton and LTA Team Tennis Leagues.

Also, the club organises regular friendly matches for adults and juniors with other local clubs.

Membership

JEM Tennis offers a selection of membership packages. The club is always on the lookout for new junior and adult players of any standard, whether you want to play in teams, join our group coaching sessions or just hire the courts.
