Leatherhead Tennis Club

Founded in the 1960s, Leatherhead Tennis Club has been flourishing for over fifty years. There is always plenty going on with club sessions, team play and social functions. So if you’re looking for a lively programme and superb courts, consider joining Leatherhead Tennis Club.

Social Play

Social ‘turn up and play’ sessions take place up to 6 times a week. Some of these are coach led, and others are simply mix in. So whatever your standard and no matter how busy you are, you’ll enjoy playing with like minded people each week. Also as there is six courts, if you want to play outside the club’s programme, it’s easy to book a court for your own games.

Coaching

The club’s full-time coach offers coaching from beginner to county standard for all ages. For Juniors, there are regular social play sessions, tournaments and holiday camps.

Competitive Tennis

Leatherhead Tennis Club is active in local leagues. And as a result, the club is always on the look for more competitive tennis players. Also every year there is an annual club tournament including veterans’ cups., which are open to members of all standards.

Membership

As a community sports organisation the membership charges are reasonable. New members are always very welcome and can either contact the Membership Secretary, or simply come along any Tuesday evening social play sessions. There are no joining fees and a range of options are available.
