Lifetime Tennis – Clapham Community Tennis Club
Clapham Community Tennis Club is a brilliant venue which hosts year round tennis. Run by Lifetime Tennis, who aim to make tennis a more accessible, affordable and inclusive sport within London. The club is perfectly positioned just off Clapham Common and offers tennis courses as well as match play.
Social Play
The weekly programme contains many drop in social play sessions each week. Players of all standards can turn up and play with other of a similar level, while receiving some coaching and enjoying a few games.
Coaching
The club’s coaching programmes are available for all ages and levels. The courses range from Mini tennis for children from the age of 4, up to Adult sessions, which provide structured training and practice sessions. Since the club has floodlit courts, you can benefit from the excellent coaching and playing facilities all year round.
Competitive Tennis
A number of match play opportunities are available at Lifetime Tennis. There is a popular Improver/Intermediate Level Doubles League which take places at Lambeth Academy. Advanced Level players also compete for the Lifetime Tennis Team in the LTA Aegon Surrey Leagues.
Membership
Lifetime Tennis – Clapham Community Tennis Club offers a pay and play model. This means if you want to take part in a courses, you simple pay for that. If you can’t commit to a coaching programme, then the drop in sessions enable you to play as and when you can. And because fees are very affordable, you can enjoy playing tennis all year round.
