The Limpsfield Club
For over a hundred years The Limpsfield Club has been proud of being the best family club for miles around. In the early days only tennis was played, and for a few years, croquet. Now, the club also offers Squash, Racketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, and so much more.
While there are no indoor tennis courts, thanks to a variety of surfaces, there are very few, if any, days in a year that our courts are not playable!
If you’re trying to improve your playing and meet new people then each week, there are many Tennis mix-in sessions during the day, evenings and weekends. In the summer months, tennis is followed by “Bangers on the Barbie” on the first Tuesday night of the month.
The club operates a turn-up and play policy, there no need to book unless you need floodlights or if you’re planning matches during the daytime. So you’re able to play whenever you feel like playing.
To help members realise their potential, professional full-time coaches are available to advise and encourage at all levels. The coching team run a full programme of squads, camps and courses throughout the year. So whatever your age, if you want to develop your game, help is available.
The Limpsfield Club enters many ladies, men’s, mixed, veterans and junior Tennis teams into the Surrey and Weald leagues, Men’s AEGON Team Tennis, as well as individual members into Surrey and Vets GB postal competitions. The Limpsfield Club operates tennis singles and doubles box leagues each year. As well as regular American tournaments and an annual club championship.
As an Outdoor member at The Limpsfield Club not only can you play Tennis but your membership allows you to play Squash Racketball, Badminton and Table Tennis too! The club does charge a joining fee. However, each year the club run many promotions and discounts. Visitors are welcome up to five times for a small fee.
