Milton Tennis Club

Located at the Milton Community Centre courts, Milton Tennis Club is nestled in north of Cambridge. As a well established and friendly club, members enjoy a range of tennis. The exciting monthly programme includes regular social tennis sessions, coaching and match play.

 

In addition the club’s tennis courts, there is also a single Astroturf court (usually used for 5-a-side football). This facility is available for Wednesday adult club nights, coaching sessions, tournaments or by special arrangements.

 

Social Play

A weekly social tennis session is open to members of a good standard. These Wednesday night events take place each week throughout the season. During the summer, a second social session take place on the second Friday of each month. Of course, members are able to arrange their own games on a court outside of the club’s programme.

 

Coaching

An LTA qualified coach run adult coaching sessions at the club. Juniors also meet every Friday afternoons for regular coaching. Private coaching is also available.

 

Competitive Tennis

Milton and Waterbeach tennis clubs combine in order to compete in the Cambridge LTA League. In addition to this league play, the club hosts three tournaments each the year.

 

Membership

The club aims to keep membership fees to a minimum and therefore offers some of the lowest in the country. Four classes of membership are available including Adult, Family and Junior.

 

Extras

Milton Tennis Club usually holds a few subsidised Social events during the year including Quizes, 10 pin Bowling and more!
