Moorgate Tennis Club

Moorgate Tennis Club is situated just outside of Rotherham Town Centre. Tennis is a great way to get active, meet people, learn new skills and have fun. It’s also a great way for families to spend quality time together.

Whether you are new to tennis or a more experienced player, whatever your age or ability, Moorgate has plenty to offer. And in addition to a busy tennis programme, there are a number of off-court social events each year.

Social Play

Each week there are multiple social tennis sessions. Open to all, these sessions are great for playing tennis, working on your game and meeting people. In addition, American-style tournaments take place twice a month and are a friendly yet competitive event.

Coaching

Improve your tennis skills, have fun, meet other people who love to play tennis and have a great workout. Coaching is available for all ages and standards throughout the year. The club has an active Junior Section and even runs holiday camps!

Competitive Tennis

With an incredible 32 teams in local leagues, there’s plenty on offer when it comes to match play. Club teams are active in local competitions all year round, including Sheffield and District Summer League, South Yorkshire League and Grove Floodlit League.
