Newmarket URC Tennis Club
Newmarket URC Tennis Club is a small, friendly tennis club established over 60 years ago. Welcoming all members of the community to play tennis and socialise in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Social Play
In addition to the all-weather hard courts, which enable year-round play, members enjoy playing on the three beautiful grass courts, which are open for play during the summer months.
In the summer months, weekly club nights and afternoons take place and always prove popular.
Coaching
Coaching is available, both individually and in groups for juniors and adults keen to improve their skills. The club works in partnership with Titan Tennis Academy to deliver the club’s coaching. Also, Cardio Tennis for adults is available.
Competitive Tennis
While the club doesn’t compete in local leagues, it dos hosts a number of fun doubles and singles tournaments in summer. If you’re looking for league play, then you may want to consider other local clubs.
Membership
As Newmarket URC Tennis Club is run by members, for the members, fees are highly affordable. The club offers a number of membership packages and so caters for all. Guest are welcome for a small fee. In addition to members, local schools and community groups are welcome to use the courts.
