Painswick Lawn Tennis Club

Founded in 1962, Painswick Lawn Tennis Club started playing on two courts on land owned by the Parish Council at the Recreation Ground in Painswick. Today the club has six well maintained floodlit hard courts plus two additional courts in the village.

As a friendly club, there’s lots of social and competitive tennis, for all ages and standards. And joining the club is a great way to meet new friends and get involved with village life!

Social Play

At the heart of the club is regular social tennis, thankfully, there are sessions each week. These sessions encourage all to mix in and play against other members of all standards. Also, members are able to book court for their own play.

Coaching

The Painswick Tennis Academy provides tennis coaching and fitness training for all ages and abilities. The Club’s competitive programme runs parallel to this and blends a nice mixture of social and more competitive match play catering for almost all elements of the Club’s membership.

Competitive Tennis

Mens, ladies, mixed and junior teams compete into local and county leagues throughout the year. And as a result, there is a range of competitive tennis available for all levels and ages.

Membership

9 membership options are available at Painswick Lawn Tennis Club. So, the club really does cater for all, from families to juniors, adults and more. Plus with affordable rates, you’ll want to join soon!
