Pentyrch Lawn Tennis Club

Located in a small picturesque village approximately 7 miles north of Cardiff, Pentyrch Lawn Tennis Club is a very friendly club and part of a thriving sporting centre. The club has a rich history which dates back to the 1920s. The primary school is now located on the site of the club’s original courts. Today Pentyrch is open to all ages and standards with a varied year round programme.

 

Social Play

At the heart of the club’s weekly programme is three social tennis sessions. Ladies meet on Tuesday evenings. Whereas the men play on Thursday evenings. Sunday mornings provides an opportunity for all, with a mixed social tennis session. Also members can easily book courts.

 

Coaching

Graham North is the club’s coach and he is a qualified Level 3 LTA Licensed Coach with over 20 years experience.In addition to group coaching for all ages, Graham also offers private lessons.

 

Competitive Tennis

The club competes with men’s and ladies’ teams in the local leagues throughout the year. This therefore provides a number of competitive opportunities.

 

Membership

Pentyrch Lawn Tennis Club offers both full and off peak membership for all ages. Junior, adult, student and family memberships are all available. So if you only want to play during the day, then you save money on club membership.

Finally, as a superb community sports club, members enjoy meeting for a range of social events each year.
