Ponteland Lawn Tennis Club

Ponteland Tennis Club in Northumberland is a family friendly club which is open to all. The Tennis Club is situated behind the Memorial Hall on Darras Road, Ponteland. There is free parking for members in the Memorial Hall car park.

 

The club has recently achieved Tennismark + accreditation from the LTA which recognises the club as safe, welcoming and inclusive and a provider of a high-quality tennis programme. All standards and ages are welcome, including complete beginners.

 

Social Play

There are popular Club Play sessions each week, which are open to all. So turn up and mix in! Members are also welcome to play as often as they wish.

 

Coaching

Individual, junior and group coaching is available via the Head Coach Nick Clark. Also, Juniors have various sessions throughout the week. So whatever your age, if you want to develop there’s plenty of opportunities.

 

Competitive Tennis

In terms of competitive play, the competition with teams in winter and summer leagues at various levels. Also, club tournaments take place during the summer months.

 

Membership

As a non-profit making club, an enthusiastic committee of volunteers are responsible for running Ponteland Lawn Tennis Club. Therefore membership is available at affordable rates. And since there are no joining fees and a range of membership options available, becoming a member is simple.
