Rushmere Tennis Club
Rushmere Tennis Club started in the 1930s and is set in an secluded area, sheltered by trees, with lawns and a loose gravel car park. Enjoy playing tennis in a friendly and sociable club. If you haven’t played tennis in years or you want to play more tennis and improve your game, then Rushmere Tennis Club is the ideal club for you.
In addition to social tennis, the club competes in local leagues, and also provides coaching for all levels and ages, either individually or in a group.
Social Play
At Rushmere, there are many popular social sessions where you just turn up and play. These are great for playing tennis and meeting new people. Also, the club host a number of inclusive or disability-specific sessions.
Coaching
A Wide Range of Tennis Coaching is available from local coaching company Parks Tennis. Rushmere Tennis Club provides coaching for all ages and abilities! Plus, all equipment is provided, so all you need to do is turn up!
Competitive Tennis
Club teams play in the Summer and Winter local tennis leagues. The teams include Mens, Mens Veterans, Ladies, Ladies Veterans and Mixed Teams. And as a result, new competitive players are always welcome.
Membership
Rushmere Tennis Club offers a choice of memberships to suit your needs. Plus there are reductions in membership fees for first-time “Adult” and “Family” memberships.
