Sandylands Sports Centre
Sandylands Sports Centre officially called The Coulthurst Craven Sports Centre originated from funds provided by the Coulthurst Trust and land held by the Sandylands Trustees.
The Centre has provided a variety of sporting facilities since 1984. Today the centre is home to a number of sports clubs and members of the public who utilise the various available facilities.
Whether you want to simply pay and play or use the courts as part of your membership, you’re able to do both. So grab your racket and get on court!
Six LTA qualified coaches are based at the centre and so the club is a vibrant and thriving facility for tennis excellence. Coaching is available for all ranges from beginners to experienced players from aged three upwards. The younger players start playing tennis using the LTA mini-tennis programme.
While the club doesn’t compete with teams in local and national leagues, it does run a number of friendly tournaments each year. These are open to members and encourages all to try competitive match play.
Sandylands Sports Centre is a members club offering pay as you play facilities. However, membership does offer you a number of benefits and represents good value for money.
The clubhouse has been refurbished and now offers a lounge area, TV, bar, changing facilities, kitchen, music and WIFI!
