Southbank Lawn Tennis Club

Founded in 1896, Southbank Lawn Tennis Club is a family friendly club that offers competitive tennis, great social events and an environment conducive to having fun and getting active, whatever your age or ability. The club’s LTA Tennismark accreditation offers a guarantee of high standards and best practice both on and off the court.

 

Social Play

For those members who enjoy the social aspects of tennis, there’s plenty happening each week including club sessions and more. So you’ll enjoy playing at the club and making new friends.

 

Coaching

Whether you’re just starting out, returning after a break or looking to improve your existing tennis skills, Southbank offers a range of coaching options.

 

For the juniors, there are courses for Tiny Tots (ages 3-5), Mini-Reds (ages 6-8), Mini-Oranges (ages 8-9) and Mini-Greens (ages 10+). Whereas adults can group weekly coaching groups and can also take private lessons.

 

Competitive Tennis

If you’re interested in competitive tennis, teams compete in the Southport and District League. As well as playing friendly fixtures throughout the season.

 

The club also organises a number of tournaments for members throughout the year.

 

Membership

Southbank Lawn Tennis Club offers a wide range of memberships to suit every need. There is no joining fee and the annual subscriptions are very affordable.
