Stamford Tennis Club

Stamford Tennis Club is one of the largest tennis clubs in Lincolnshire. A wide range of social and competitive tennis to suit all levels of player is offered, with an extensive coaching program available to adults and juniors. Plus a number of teams compete in local leagues.

 

With 7 floodlit all-weather courts, which are shared with Stamford School, you are always able to get on court!

 

Social Play

While the school has priority on the courts, members still meet four times a week for social play sessions. As well as virtually unlimited court use at weekends and during school holidays. So you’re welcome to turn up and play at these social play sessions.

 

Coaching

The tennis coaching programme at Stamford Tennis Club is run by R2R Tennis. R2R run a regular coaching programme for both juniors and adults through school term time. Individual and small group (2-3 players) private lessons are also available.

 

Tennis camps are available for juniors on selected days during the school holidays.

 

Competitive Tennis

If you’re looking for match play, then there’s plenty on offer. Mulitple club teams compete in the Peterborough and District league and Huntingdon and Peterborough league. So the club is always on the lookout for new competitive players to join.

 

Membership

Stamford Tennis Club offers a range of membership options available for adults, couples, families and juniors. Early bird discounts are available for members who join or renew in the month of February.
