Stocksbridge Tennis Club
Located near Sheffield, Stocksbridge Tennis Club encourages all ages and all abilities to have fun playing tennis. Join in social tennis, play in matches or take part in coaching. Stocksbridge is a friendly club that aims to provide tennis opportunities for all.
The club has CASC status, Tennis Clubmark and in 2011 the club was awarded Sheffield Tennis club of the year.
Social Play
There are three social play sessions each week with two evenings and one daytime. So no matter how busy you are, there’s plenty of time for you to enjoy playing tennis at the club. Also, non-members can attend up to 3 sessions before having to purchase membership.
Coaching
Mark Thornton, Head Coach leads an exciting programme for all ages with weekly groups, family and private lessons. As well as holiday camps for kids during school holidays.
Competitive Tennis
All club members are encouraged to participate in league tennis, with teams in Sheffield & District LTA leagues, Sheffield Works League and the Huddersfield & District LTA league.
Membership
As Stocksbridge Tennis Club is not for profit, membership rates are very affordable and so ensure all can enjoy playing at the club. So whether you’re an adult, family or child, the club will welcome you.
