Stow Park Lawn Tennis Club

Located in Newport, Stow Park Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly club with a strong family atmosphere. The club thrives on providing enjoyable tennis-playing opportunities for all ages and abilities. There is a flourishing playing contingent and coaching programme, as well as a lively and varied social scene. There’s even a bar in the clubhouse!

 

Social Play

Each week there’s general club sessions as well as slots of mens and ladies club play. Plus courts are available to members outside the club’s programme. So the club offers plenty of chance for all to play tennis, all year round.

 

Coaching

A comprehensive coaching programme is available for all age groups and abilities during school time and holidays. From preschool to adults; beginners to team players. The head coaches are ably supported by a team of experienced, qualified coaches. In addition to coaching, Cardio Tennis is also available.

 

Competitive Tennis

Both junior and adult teams compete in the LTA Team Tennis event.  Adult teams also compete in the South Wales and Gwent Doubles Leagues. In addition to league play, junior and adult have the chance to play in club competitions throughout the year, including the Club Championships and Road to Wimbledon.

 

Membership

Stow Park Lawn Tennis Club offers a wide range of membership and so caters to all. And since there’s no joining fee or playing in tests, becoming a member is simple.
