Tarka Tennis Centre

Located in the heart of Barnstaple, Tarka Tennis Centre offers an extensive tennis programme for all ages and standards. Players from the ages of 3-90 years young can find tennis to suit them. Plus with outdoor as well as indoor tennis courts, you can play at Tarka all year round.

 

Social Play

The club’s weekly programme is full of social play sessions. Whether you’re a junior or an adult, there’s at least one session for you each week. This is a great way to turn up and play some tennis, improve your technique and meet other members.

 

Coaching

The excellent coaching programme starts with LTA mini tennis. Aimed at children 3 to 10, each stage of the programme uses fun game play and activities to teach the basics of tennis. Cardio Tennis is also available and provides adults with a superb way to get active and improve their tennis skills. Juniors also have the chance to join holiday camps!

 

Competitive Tennis

Since competitive play is a the heart of the club, it’s unsurprising that teams of all ages and abilities compete in various local leagues.

 

Membership

Tarka Tennis Centre offer value for money membership as well as affordable pay and play. This enables all to benefit from playing at the centre.

 

Extras

In addition to some of Devon’s best tennis facilities, there is also a cafe on-site. Tarka Tennis Centre is a LTA Performance Centre and holds Clubmark status.
