Set in an attractive rural location, Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club offers members an exciting year round programme in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Open to all standards and abilities from complete beginner to seasoned pro!

 

Recently awarded Tennis Mark status by the LTA, Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club is recognised for it good management policies and overall programme.

 

Social Play

The weekly club sessions offer a good way to meet other members and play with new people. In summer some of these session end with a BBQ!

 

Coaching

A comprehensive range of coaching activities at Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club are provided by the talented team from Taylor Tennis.

 

Competitive Tennis

There a range of match play on offer. Adults can play in club tournaments as well as part of a team in a local league. Several talented juniors have also been selected  for the County Junior Tennis Squad.

 

Membership

The annual membership fee is very affordable. Adult membership costs few pounds a week. While child membership is around a pound a week. There are discounts for those over 60 as well as those wishing to play during weekday mornings and afternoons only.

 

Extras

As well as tennis, the club organises a number of great social events throughout the year. So, members can let their hair down and enjoy themselves!
