Waverley Lawn Tennis Club

Located just a short walk from Basingstoke town centre, Waverley Lawn Tennis Club is close to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire cricket club. The club has real grass tennis courts as well as all weather courts. This enables you to play on a range of surfaces.

 

Waverley offers year round tennis for all levels of play. Whether you’re just getting started, returning after a break or looking to play competitively, Waverley has something for you.

 

Social Play

The regular club evenings give members a chance to mix-in and play doubles. And are also a fantastic way to met other club members and improve your tennis playing.

 

Coaching

A range of coaching options are on offer. The club’s tennis coaches can help you to improve your technique and fitness. Both group and individual lessons are available for all ages.

 

Competitive Tennis

Waverley Lawn Tennis Club has two mens and one mixed teams competing in the local Basingstoke summer and winters leagues.

 

Membership

The Club offers competitive standard memberships rates with discounts for families. Adult memberships start from £75.60 (for a family based member) and from £20.30 (for a junior as a family based member). In addition, new members receive a £20 discount!

Little known fact about Waverley Tennis Club, Former British No.2, Davis Cup, and Wimbledon player Joshua Goodall played and learned his early years of tennis here!
