Whalley Range Lawn Tennis Club

Whalley Range Lawn Tennis Club is a safe and friendly community sports club welcoming all ages and abilities. Located close to the centres of both Whalley Range and Chorlton, Manchester, the club offers cricket, tennis and softball. The tennis section has a small but friendly membership and a fantastic mix of players of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

Social Play

Members enjoy meeting twice a week for social play. Courts are also available to both members and on a pay to play basis. So each week there are plenty of opportunities to play tennis.

Coaching

The club employs a highly experienced and qualified tennis coach, who offers group coaching sessions 4 days a week. As well as private lessons for members and non-members. If your serve or backhand needs work, don’t worry as help is available. There’s also holiday camps for the kids!

Competitive Tennis

During the summer 2 mens and 2 ladies teams compete in the South West Manchester Lawn Tennis League. There are also 3 mixed teams in a North East Cheshire Winter League. And as result, if you’re looking for more match play, the club offers a range.
