Whitkirk Tennis Club

Whitkirk Tennis Club is a small, friendly and thriving tennis club that welcomes new members of all ages and abilities. The club is affiliated to Whitkirk Social Club which combines multi-sport activities serving the community of Leeds and surrounding areas. This affiliation enables members to enjoy the Social Club facilities.

 

Social Play

The club aims to be the best family tennis club in the area. So you’ll enjoy playing tennis at the weekly social play sessions. There’s a session on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoon. If you’re thinking about joining, you’re welcome to attend these sessions to play some tennis and talk with other members, before committing.

 

Coaching

Club Head Coach Cezar Gniadek provides a full schedule of coaching for all ages. Sessions are open to both members and non-members and so if you’re looking to improve your game, help is available. Cezar also runs a superb weekly session for juniors as well as camps in the school holidays.

 

Competitive Tennis

There is a fantastic range competitive play throughout the year. 8 senior and 3 junior teams enter the Leeds and Barkston Ash Leagues. There are also regular club tournaments which are open to all members.

 

Membership

Wehther you want to play only in the winter or all year round, Whitkirk Tennis Club has a membership option for you. Fees are affordable and visitors are welcome for a small fee.
