Winstanley Tennis Club

Located in Wigan, Winstanley Tennis Club offers a year-round facility and a varied tennis programme. The club has been in operation since 1921 and has a rich history along with modern facilities.

 

Social Play

There is plenty of opportunity for Members to play as and when they prefer. Weekly sessions are open to all and provide an excellent opportunity to play regularly while meeting new people.

 

Coaching

Head Coach, Robin Michaelides and the team are all highly qualified and so you’re in safe hands. So the club caters for absolute beginners in the sport to world ranked players.

 

Competitive Tennis

Whether you want to compete in local leagues or club tournaments, Winstanley Tennis Club offers opportunities for both at all levels. There are adult teams in the Warrington and District LTA and junior teams in the Bolton League. Also, Winstanley is very active with in-house tournaments for Adult and Junior Members across the tennis year in a range of format

 

Membership

Before joining, Adults are welcome to attend a free session at the Club and can play as Visitors for a small fee per visit up to 6 times before committing to membership. When joining, Adults are able to choose from a variety of membership options and discounts are available on the first year’s fees. For Juniors, membership is related primarily to age and there’s plenty of options available.
