Are you looking for a tennis club in the Bury St Edmunds area, or seeking to play tennis at a club in the Stowmarket area? Then Woolpit Tennis Club is a friendly, social club that is always looking for new members.

 

As a small, not for profit club many of the membership have been playing at the club for more than 10 years. You can therefore expect a warm welcome.

 

Social Play

The weekly routine of adult and junior club nights, encourages all members to play tennis. And thanks to floodlights these session continue all year round. There is also plenty of free court time for you to book for your own games.

 

Coaching

The club has three LTA qualified coaches who provide coaching for juniors and seniors. In the summer there is a junior club as well as group coaching on a Thursday evenings.

 

Competitive Tennis

Teams from Woolpit Tennis Club compete in both Summer and Winter leagues, in the Suffolk & Norfolk and Ipswich leagues. In addition the club hosts a number of tournaments each year. Therefore player of all ages and standard have a number of match play opportunities.

 

Membership

Adult membership costs just over a £1 per week. Options also include Junior, Students and Family membership. All of which are affordable.

If you’re looking to get your racket re-stringed, then Woolpit Tennis Club also offers this service.
