Wrexham Lawn Tennis Club
Wrexham Lawn Tennis Club sits in a beautiful position in North Wales being just a minute from the A483 and sited together with the North Wales Regional Tennis Centre. The centre has become the first organisations in Wales to achieve the Lawn Tennis Association’s (LTA) Tennis Clubmark award.
Wrexham Tennis Club dates back to 1913, when it was founded as Garden Village Lawn Tennis Club and is a perfect place to play, learn and enjoy tennis. Adult social tennis is played on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings.
The club has teams in the North Wales and Chester leagues.
The North Wales Regional Tennis Centre was opened in September 1990, as part of the LTA’s Indoor Tennis Initiative. It is a ‘pay and play’ centre, open to all, with no membership system, and is run by a non-profit making management company on behalf of the council.
