Boldmere Tennis Club

Boldmere Tennis Club is a small friendly club located near Sutton Coldfield. As a member’s club, it is run for the members, by the members. This means, there’s a good programme of tennis all year round as well as a range of activities for all ages and standards.

 

Social Play

The majority of adult players join in club play, which is normally mixed doubles but men’s or ladies doubles may be played. Members arrive and mix in to play with changes taking place as sets end. These relaxed weekly sessions are superb for playing more tennis and also meeting new people.

 

Coaching

Adult and junior coaching is available either in groups or a one to one basis. The main junior coaching session is Saturday mornings when all four courts are allocated for junior coaching.

 

Competitive Tennis

Teams are entered into a number of local leagues. This includes men’s; ladies and mixed teams in the Spring league, ladies Cup and Saucer league.

 

Membership

Since there is no joining fee and a range of memberships available, becoming a member of Boldmere Tennis Club is easy. So arrange a visit today and see if the club is right for you!

 

Extras

A number of social events are organised during the year for members and their guests. e.g. Skittles night, curry night, BBQ. The premier social event of the year is the annual dinner and prize presentation evening when trophies won during the year are presented.
