Chesterton Sports Centre opened in the Summer of 2004. Facilities include a swimming pool, sports hall, gymnasium, 3G Astroturf, grass pitches, tennis courts, aerobics studio and a brand new fitness suite. In a short time, Chesterton has become a firm favourite with residents in and around the Cambridge area.

Social Play

Open all year round, Chesterton Sports Centre’s four floodlit outdoor tennis are easily to book. This means you can enjoy playing tennis whenever you feel like it.

Coaching

While the centre doesn’t offer any coaching, Cambridge Tennis Academy are available by request. Their team offers a range of coaching for both juniors and adults.

Competitive Tennis

Unfortunately, the centre doesn’t offer any competitive play. If this is at the top of your list, then it might be worth looking at other local tennis clubs.

Membership

You can join as a full member of Chesterton Sports Centre and have access to all the facilities. However, if you’re only interested in tennis, then a specific membership is available. This allows unlimited court usage and offers fantastic value for money. Courts are also available on a pay and play basis. Full racquet and ball hire is available, as well as full access for wheelchair users.

Extras

Chesterton Sports Centre’s cafe is the perfect spot to relax after exercising. Plus, all food and drink is freshly prepared each day.
