Crablands Bowling and Tennis Club

Share on FacebookShare on Google+Tweet about this on Twitter

Crablands Bowling and Tennis Club is a privately owned club. Run by members for members. In addition to great tennis facilities, members can enjoy the bowling green and a sports hall.

Social Play

In addition to plenty of court time for your own games, members meet each week for club sessions. These fun events allow you to play tennis regularly while working on your game and meeting new people.

Coaching

Sadly there is no coaching programme available at Crablands. So if that is top of your list, then you might want to consider other local clubs.

Competitive Tennis

While the club does not compete in local leagues, it does run a number of fun tournaments for juniors and adults each year. However, if you’re looking for a full range of match play then many other local clubs offer a wider range of competitive opportunities.

Membership

Crablands Bowling and Tennis Club has a one off joining fee of £30 per person and adult membership costs less than £2 per week. Also family memberships are entitled to 20% off. Social membership is available for a yearly fee of £15 per person.

Extras

As a fantastic local sports club, members often gather in the bar for a drink post tennis. The clubhouse is also the setting for the club’s many social events. These include Skittles, quizzes, indoor curling and bar games.
