Craig-y-Don Community Tennis Club

While not as big as some other local tennis clubs, Craig-y-Don Community Tennis Club is certainly not elite. However, the club does enjoy social tennis as well as giving those with ability, the chance to progress.

The club has a strong family atmosphere. It is not unusual to find babes in prams sleeping peacefully while mum plays a little tennis, of course with that ever watchful eye on baby!

Social Play

There’s a range of social tennis on offer. From morning for seniors, to evenings for adults. Of course, as a welcoming, friendly club you’ll enjoy playing with the other members. Plus as four courts are floodlit, you can play tennis all year round. Also people with disabilities, are welcomed to join in wheelchair sessions on Sunday afternoons.

Coaching

Two adult coaching groups run each week. Some of which is free to non-members. There’s also a lively and active junior section.

Competitive Tennis

For those of a more competitive nature, 2 men’s doubles teams entered into the local league as well as 2 ladies doubles teams and mixed doubles teams.

Membership

New members offer!….get 2 Months free! Joining Craig-y-Don Community Tennis Club is simple and open to all, regardless of age or ability. Plus as the club is run by volunteers, fees are kept low and therefore provide great value for money.
