Brymbo Tennis Club
Brymbo Tennis Club is part of Brymbo Sports and Social Complex. The club was previously owned by Brymbo Steel Works, a company within the United Engineering Steel Group. When the works closed in 1990, Brymbo Sports and Social Complex was created. Brymbo Tennis Club is located in the village of Tanyfron, which is approximately 3 miles outside of Wrexham.
The club’s facilities comprise two football pitches, four tennis courts, a bowling green and cricket ground. The excellent social club, with function rooms and bar.
Social Play
Between May and October,members meet twice a week for social play on Tuesdays and Fridays. There’s also plenty of court time for members to book for their own games.
Coaching
Currently there is no coaching. However, other local clubs offer a range and so you may want to consider your options if coaching is at the top of your list.
Competitive Tennis
Brymbo Tennis Club has an active calendar of American tournaments. The club has ladies’, men’s and mixed teams in the Chester and District League which runs throughout the summer.
Membership
Brymbo Tennis Club offers 5 membership options which cater to a range of requirements and ages. All are affordable, for example, adult membership costs less than £2 per week. Visitors are welome to try the club out before joining. So, grab your racket and get on court!
