Sussex County Lawn Tennis Club

Situated in Southwick, Sussex County Lawn Tennis Club offers you excellent facilities. Whether you want to stretch yourself at a competitive level or just escape from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy some leisurely social tennis. The club is also accredited with the LTA’s Tennismark status.

 

Social Play

As a great place to hang out, the club is the perfect place to enjoy some great tennis while staying fit and healthy. On court, there is an extensive range of tennis activities for both adults and juniors. This includes a comprehensive programme of club sessions. There are social mix-ins on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and Saturday afternoons.

 

Coaching

Club coach, Helen Mitchell provides a range of programmes for adults of all levels from Tennis Xpress, Cardio Tennis, coffee mornings and training for our club’s teams. Helen also runs various junior groups on Saturdays and weekdays after school, and junior camps during the school holidays.

 

Competitive Tennis

Ladies and mens teams compete in the County Leagues. Also, the club runs a number of Club Tournaments each year. So there’s plenty of opportunities for match play, should you wish to play more competitively.

 

Membership

Sussex County Lawn Tennis Club offers a number of membership types! So whatever your age or requirements, you’ll enjoy playing tennis at the club. Also, visitors are welcome for a small fee.
