Almscliffe Tennis and Bowling Club
Almscliff Tennis and Bowling Club has been in existence for more than 80 years. It is small and friendly and welcomes new members of any standard including novices. The club is situated in Huby, a picturesque and sought-after semi-rural village to the south of Harrogate.
Social Play
The club welcomes players of all standards with regular social tennis available. There’s also plenty of free court time for members to book and online booking is available. So you can stay active all year round.
Coaching
Two professional coaches run an exciting coaching programme, which caters to all ages. And the club especially encourages younger players and offers a full programme of junior tennis coaching as well as some adult coaching. So regardless of your age or ability, there plenty of help available should you wish to improve your game.
Competitive Tennis
For those who are more competitively minded, teams compete in both the Harrogate and District League and the Leeds League. And as a result, the club is always on the look out for more competitive tennis players.
Membership
Several membership packages are available at Almscliffe Tennis and Bowling Club. All are affordable and there are no joining or hidden fees. Adult tennis membership costs just over £1 per week.
