Ashtead Tennis Players Club
Ashtead Tennis Players Club was formed in 1981 when a group of local tennis enthusiasts took a lease on the four courts in the recreation ground from Mole Valley District Council. Today, the club has a varied membership and an exciting tennis programme.
Social Play
There are various social tennis session throughout the week and during weekends. Non-members are welcome to try one of these session and meet some of the members.
Coaching
A range of junior coaching is available. This programme aims to encourage the next generation and enable them to develop their tennis skills and techniques.
Competitive Tennis
In addition to club tournaments, there are many opportunities to play competitive tennis. Teams from club compete in men’s, women’s and mixed teams in the Summer and Winter leagues.
Membership
With nine different membership types, all ages and abilities are welcome at Ashtead Tennis Players Club. There’s a variety of family membership options as well as a free non-playing option and many more.
Extras
All members enjoy regular tennis as well as a full social events programme. These events includes BBQs, fun tennis tournaments and holidays abroad to watch tennis tournaments. The club also participate in the local pub quiz each week!
