Avondale Tennis Club
Avondale Tennis Club was the winner of the LTA Club of the Year Award for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight in 2015. Situated at the fringe of Church Crookham, Hampshire, the club offers an vibrant club scene with facilities to match.
Social Play
At the heart of the club’s programme is weekly Junior and Adult mix-in social tennis. Not only is this a great way to meet new people, but these sessions are perfect for working on game play while staying active.
Coaching
If you’re looking to improve your technique, then you’ll enjoy the club’s comprehensive coaching programme. Open to players of all ages, coaching starts with LTA mini tennis for youngest children. As they develop into strong junior tennis players, the focus switches to match play. Adults also benefits from the fantastic coaching.
Competitive Tennis
At the competitive level a number of mens,ladies, mixed and junior teams compete in the Aldershot and District Leagues, Hampshire & IoW Summer League and East Hampshire Summer and Winter Leagues. The club also hosts it’s own tournaments, which allow tennis players of all standard to experience competitive play.
Membership
Whether you’re a family, a junior or adult, you’ll enjoy being a member of Avondale Tennis Club. There are six types of membership available and members are welcome to bring guest for a small charge.
