Ayr Lawn Tennis Club

Situated between Racecourse Road and Midton Road, Ayr Lawn Tennis Club has great facilities and a friendly, welcoming environment for casual or serious play. Unlike most clubs, tennis balls are supplied free for seniors and juniors throughout the year. Ball machine available for individual or group practice.


Social Play

Throughout the week there are a number of opportunities to play some tennis, improve your technique and meet with other members. Ladies only events take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Mens meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There’s a Mixed Senior Social Doubles on a Sunday. not forgetting the junior, who meet on a Saturday for fun and supervised  play.



Coaching Programmes for adults and children of all ages, individually or in groups from the club’s coach. Mini Tennis classes indoors at Belmont Academy Games Hall in the winter for younger players.


Competitive Tennis

Ayr Lawn Tennis Club enters teams in the Scottish Cup, Ayrshire Leagues, Ayrshire Mixed Doubles, Ayrshire Master League and Winter Indoor Mixed. And also Ayrshire Junior Boys & Girls League and Ayrshire Mini Tennis Leagues.



Nine membership options are available and fees range from around £40 to £370. This means that the fees overall are reasonable and encourage the local community to play tennis! However, new members currently receive a discount of 50% on fees. A nice bonus!



The club also has the use of 2 all weather courts at Seafield. The club also has ab All weather table tennis table for all year round play!
