Birtley Lawn Tennis Club

Birtley Lawn Tennis Club is small and friendly tennis club in Surrey, located on the outskirts of Bramley and not far from Guildford. There are regular playing sessions and coaching for all ages.

 

Social Play

Open play sessions are on Mondays, Tuesdays (morning and evening) and Saturdays. These sessions are open to all adult members as well as invited juniors. The Saturday afternoon and Tuesday evening sessions are restricted to player for at least an intermediate standard, to allow social and competitive tennis during the week.

 

Prospective members are welcome to try the club on a Saturday afternoon or Tuesday evening session. You will be made very welcome!

 

Coaching

A full programme of coaching for Juniors, including ‘Tennis Camps’ during school holidays. Coaching for adults, including a ‘Rusty Racquets’ weekly session for beginners, or those returning to tennis after a period without play. So if you want to improve your technique, the club’s coach will help you reach your goal.

 

Competitive Tennis

If you’re looking for more match play then there are teams in local leagues. As well as club competitions, which are open to all members.

 

Membership

There are 2 types of membership available; weekday membership and full membership. Birtley Lawn Tennis Club charges no joining fees and subscription rates are affordable. If you are thinking of joining, please come along to a club tennis social session on Saturday afternoon or Tuesday evening.
